Lock Stock & Barrel’s October 23–24, 2026 auction sessions bring together an extensive selection of antique, military and sporting firearms, with particularly attractive offerings for collectors of American lever-action rifles and Colt revolvers. Factory engraving, unusual configurations and supporting archival documentation distinguish several of the leading lots.

Among the principal highlights is Lot 2304, a factory-engraved Winchester Model 1873 Deluxe in .44-40, manufactured in 1884 and estimated at $22,500–$45,000. Its half-octagonal barrel, half-length magazine, set trigger and checkered pistol-grip stock are supported by a Cody records search, making this a particularly appealing example of Winchester’s celebrated sporting rifle.

Earlier repeating arms include Lot 2046, a Civil War-era Henry Model 1860 rifle dating to approximately 1864, estimated at $15,000–$30,000. It is joined by Lot 2043, a New Haven Arms No. 2 Navy Belt Volcanic pistol with a six-inch barrel, estimated at $8,000–$16,000. Together, these brass-framed arms offer an engaging perspective on the development of American repeating firearms.

The October 23 session includes Lot 1165, an 1898 Winchester Model 1890 Deluxe with factory monogram and matted barrel, accompanied by Cody documentation and estimated at $8,000–$16,000. Another notable rifle is Lot 1236, a factory-engraved Marlin Model 1893 Deluxe takedown in .38-55, with birdseye maple stocks and a half-octagonal barrel, estimated at $7,000–$14,000.

Colt enthusiasts will find Lot 2274, a factory-engraved, nickel-finished Single Action Army of 1924, shipped to Wolf & Klar of Fort Worth, estimated at $7,500–$15,000. A scarce Texas-shipped 1901 example in .44 Russian adds further interest at $4,000–$8,000.

British sporting arms are represented by a documented 1919 John Rigby .416 Mauser sporting rifle, estimated at $3,500–$7,000. With military firearms and additional sporting guns extending the selection, these sessions offer considerable scope for collectors across several established fields.
