Probus Auction, Stockholm, are holding a sale of arms, armour, militaria & decorations on April 17th. Among the fine guns offered is the rare Colt revolving Carbine pictured. Other rare longarms include a fine Turkish silver inlaid miquelet rifle, a Russian 18th C. flintlock musket converted to percussion by the Swedish Navy and a Swedish model 1815-20 carbine. Fine pistols include a fine cased percussion pair of dueling arms by Felice Ploner a Trieste, a third model Colt Dragoon, a cased Volcanic pistol, a Swedish jailers double barreled combination pistol dagger, a fine early 18th C Flemish pistol by Penterman Utrecht, and a Danish 1841 breech loading percussion pistol.

Among the swords offered are a fine Russian Award shaska, several early Swedish officers swords C 1640, a personalized French restoration period dragoon saber C 1815, a large Ottoman Kilij and a good Kindjal dated 1891.
