ROCK ISLAND SPORTING & COLLECTOR SALE, FEB 16th

Classic American firearms are among the top lots in Rock Island’s next sale. There are several examples of fine Winchester model 66’s, volcanic and Henry rifles. Pistols include the cased iron framed Volcanic pair pictured as well as an engraved single action army with pearl grips, a US colt cavalry model single action army, a first and third model Dragoons and a Colt US navy model 1961 revolver.

European guns include a nice DMR model 1920 Luger carbine, A Kreighoff Luger, a LeMat revolver, and a Confederate inscribed Beaumont-Adams percussion revolver. Sofe Design Auctions next winter auction includes multiple collections of rare and important world antiques and militaria featuring large selection of rare, unseen before Caucasian, Islamic and Russian weaponry, European art and other decorative items. Pictured is a fine Caucasian migulet pistol.

Other top lots in the sale include several outstanding shamshirs, one ruby mounted, a good karabela, several fine kinjals, a group of 17^th C European swords, Ottoman firearms, including a fine pair of silver and coral decorated pistols and a Balkan silver and MOP inlaid rifle.
