LANDSHUTER RUSTKAMMER, ANTIQUE ARMS AND MILITARIA, FEB 16th

Landschuter Ruestkammer’s February sale includes a wide range of arms armour and historical artifacts from the archaeological era to the mid-20t^h century. Among the many early European arms offered is the superb German longs sword C. 1550 pictured, that has a starting bid on 4900 Euro. Other early European swords Include Swedish, Italian, Hungarian, Austrian and Ottoman examples. Polearms, Suits and elements of armour are also crossing the block including a full German armour C. 1620.

Among the firearms in the sale is a museum quality superb and beautifully inlaid Tschinke Wheellock rifle as well as a wide range of wheellocks pistols and a double wheellock sporting gun. Early matchlocks, flintlock sporting guns, dueling and military pistols are included also in the catalog. Among the other lots offered are Indo-Persian arms, accoutrements, decorations and military orders as well as later WWII military field equipment and scarce reference works for the collector. HISTORIC MILITARIA & FIREARMS, MILESTONE AUCTIONS JAN 19th

MIlestones auction of the 19th includes the converted Browning 1919 pictured. Among the collectible antique guns in the sale are a cased pair of Colt 1860 Army's, A Colt 3rd model dragoon revolver, a Springfield model 1855 pistol with stock, a cased S&W revolving rifle and a Spencer carbine.

There is a wide section of WWII militaria in the sale including a German motorized infantry standard, a named Luftwaffe pilots jacket, and a German K98 long rail sniper rifle. Other collectibles in the sale include a Mexican war painted bass drum and a civil war Lincoln signed commission.
