Milestone auction in Ohio are holding a sale of rare collectibles among them some very scarce lots such as the Nepalese Birra Hand crank gun pictured. The sale includes desirable lots from a wide range of historical contexts among them a New York City French and Indian war period Wilson musket and a very rare Jordan first model brown ness musket marked to the 10t regiment, one of several bess’s in the sale.

A good section of Japanese swords will cross the block, some with papers and dating to the early 1300’s. WW II collectibles includes a German Paratrooper helmet with original camo, German uniforms, US Military Colt Model 1911’s with holsters and a Russian display machine gun

San Giorgio’s next sale includes a range of moderately estimated lots. Among the guns offered are a revolving carbines, several pairs of pistols including and English pair with drop down triggers and captive ramrods, a cased Belgian revolver with ring trigger,  Several pinafores are also in the catalog.

Among the flintlocks are an English pair of brass barreled pocket pistols, a very decorative Ottoman example, and a blunderbuss pistol with flick bayonet, a cased Belgian pair and several French military example.

A selection of Henry rifles are the leading lots in Rock Island’s June sale. Pictured is a volunteer veteran example of the December 1863 contract which are the only Henry rifles that bear a full set of Ordnance inspection marks. These rifles were initially issued to the 1st D.C. Cavalry and subsequently were used by the 1st Maine Cavalry, it is estimated at $18,000-$27,500.

Other fine guns in this four day sale include a section of good early Winchesters, a rare Springfield Model 1903 Rod Bayonet Rifle, fine shotguns, among them a Fox AH and a Beretta Pietro - Dt 10 Trident. The pistols offered include a DWM Model 1893 Borchardt with Stock, a Cased Colt Third Model Dragoon Revolver with accessories, and a very unusual Louis Marquis Pattern "Nazi Style Belt Gun", in four Shot 22 Long Rifle.

Military Guns in the sale include a U.S. Springfield M1C Garand Sniper with Lyman Scope, a  Krieghoff "S" (1935) Code Luftwaffe Luger Pistol with Holster, a Johnson Automatics/Cranston Arms Model 1941, Rifle and a Harpers Ferry Model 1855 Two Band Percussion Rifle with Bayonet. The sale includes collectible arms in a wide variety of price ranges.

On the cover of San Giorgio Aste’s catalog for next sale is an attractive 17th C. northern European baskethilt rapier.  Related swords in the sale include a German two handed processional sword, a clam shell rapier and a north Italian knightly sword circa 1200.
Also offered in this sale are several pairs of good early flintlock pistols, among them an Austrian horseman’s pair C 1720, a pair of scarce French gendarmerie pistols circa 17980, a pair of officers pistols from the Kingdom of Sardinia circa 1800, and a pair of French naval blunderbuss pistols.  A French pistol by LaMarre circa 1890 carries the highest estimate at 23,000-25000 euros.
A selection or rare powder horns and flask offered include carved bone examples dating to the 17th C and an Italian example C. 1600.  Also offered in this sale is a good section of Japanese Kabuto helmets, several fine Swiss target rifles and a fine inlaid Wheelock Tschinke
